Rashidat Jimoh joined the service of Brotherhood Synagogue as the Controller in April 2021. Before joining Brotherhood, she was the Controller at the Neighborhood Housing Services of NYC (NHSNYC), responsible for managing the company's financial and loan risk portfolio.

Rashidat is proactive, analytical, detailed, thoughtful, forward-thinking and presents her analysis with a balanced look at how today's decisions will impact the organization in the future.

She obtained her BBA in accounting from Zicklin School of business, Baruch College, and MS Taxation from the same institution. She is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in New York.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading motivational books. She loves to spend time with family and friends and cooking African delicacies. Her passion for community services is unquantifiable.
